Collaboration Tattoo with Peck & Teear
Last week we had one of Oliver Pecks regular visits to the shop. As always we had a blast everyday at Allstar. What made it even better was a surprise visit from our good friend Jordan Teear who is a great Tattooer based at Frith Street Tattoo in Soho, London. After a full days tattooing we all went out for a slap up meal. During this meal we thought it would be a great idea to do a fun collaboration tattoo. Barry, one of our tattooers from the shop put his hand up to sit down and get whatever. The design we chose was from Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins flash. Oliver did the outline, Barry jumped to the next station and got black shaded by Jordan then to my station where I layed down the color. The tattoo turned out great and was super fun to be part of. This is the kind if thing that would have been done alot years back by some old timers. Enjoy the photos.
Tattoos by Nick Colella at Allstar
So we had the honor of having Nick Colella from Chicago Tattoo Co. Tattoo at the shop for the last 4 days. We watched him knock out some of the finest traditional tattoos every day. We all had a blast at the shop for Nicks visit. It was a pleasure to have him guest with us. Keep an eye out for Nicks return and don’t miss out next time. It’s going to be a busy time again soon at the shop. We are always delighted to host these amazing guests at the shop and witness them put out amazing tattoos everyday. March 27th-30th, Oliver Peck from Elm Street Tattoo- Dallas (Tv’s ‘Ink Master’ Judge) April 4th-7th and Dan Smith from High Voltage Tattoo Hollywood LA (Tv’s LA Ink) April 25th-28th. We had a great two weeks at the shop with Chris Nunez. Between the non stop tattooing, screaming girls, fancy meals and plenty of drinking it was all around fun having Chris around. Thanks to everyone who came and got tattooed. Sorry to those who we couldn’t fit it this time. Chris will be returning soon. Call the shop to get your name on his waiting list. Recent happenings.
So we’ve had an eventful few weeks. I’m not long back from the states and we are visited by Oliver Peck at the shop for a couple of days. Then a week after we had Kris Magnotti from New York Adorned come work at the shop. A week after that we where Milan bound for the 17th Annual Tattoo Convention ran by Miki Vialleto. Milan is always a fun one. Crazy busy and we get to see some friends that we wouldn’t see much. This years Milan convention was so much fun. Can’t wait until next year.

Here are some fun one shot tattoos I have been doing recently. I am in the middle of some fun large stuff too at the moment but don’t want to post until they are complete.
FYI, I don’t just tattoo girl heads and traditional. It’s just what I really enjoy doing these days and like sharing it with ye. I do whatever people ask me for as long as it’s a good idea and the tattoo is going to look good in the end.

Kris Magnotti from New York Adorned/ Davinci Tattoo was guesting with us the last three days. Everyday he was putting out some outstanding tattoos. If you missed out on Kris this time, don’t make that mistake again. Keep your eyes and ears open as Kris will be back again this year at some point.

NYC and Texas trip!
I know I’m late posting about the US trip. Trying to find time these days is hard!! Anyway!, I started in New York at Wooster Street Social Club ( aka New York Ink). Everyone at the shop was beyond friendly and welcoming. I had such a busy 3 days work there and way too much fun. Things where extra crazy while there as they where filming for season 2 so there where bodies everywhere!!! Id like to thank everyone who I tattooed and everyone at the shop for making me feel at home. Can’t wait to come back!!
Then after a hectic schedule in New York I was off to Dallas, Texas to Oliver Pecks Elm Street Tattoo. I was busy as hell from the minute I got to the shop tattooing friendly Texans everyday. My main reason for this entire trip was to work at the world famous Friday 13th 24 hour tattoo marathon at the shop. Midnight- midnight!! Non stop tattooing! It was hands down the most amazing tattoo experience I ever had! The shop was just rammed with people waiting to get their 13 tattoo. There was people in the line outside during the night with blankets around them waiting for hours to get a 3 minute tattoo. We had so much fun in the 24 hours with the amazing Elm Street crew. In the end between the entire shop we did 750 tattoos. I was proud to have done 115 of them. When midnight came there was still over 100 people who where in a line for hours and never got their tattoo. Once it hits midnight all machines ate down! I got the 750th tattoo from Oliver. Next day we where back at the shop tattooing as normal before we headed for Austin fir the convention on sunday. Had a blast there. Did some tattoos. Met some great people and old friends. That night we went out for dinner before quick visits to Rock of Ages Tattoo and then to the Austin Tattoo Co. Both great shops that i could ramble about for ages!! Again I’d like to thank all the Elm Street crew for looking after me so well and again making me feel so welcome. I’m back on May before I head for California and can’t wait!!
If you are lucky enough to be in either NYC or Texas get your asses into Wooster Street and Elm Street Tattoo. Both amazing shops filled with talent!!

It’s Near the end of 2011 and what a year it has been. For me and all of us at the shop it has been such a busy and eventful year. I got married in Portugal. Worked some amazing conventions in Brighton, Milan, London and Barcelona. Had some of the best in the business from around the world guesting at the shop including Nick Caruso, Oliver Peck, Chad Koeplinger, Javier Rodriguez , Tim Pausinger, Matt Knopp and Grant Cobb. We had the honor and privilege of being a part of the opening of the worlds most impressive Tattoo Museum in Amsterdam which was a historical weekend and amazing to witness. The only magazine that I have admired throughout my career ‘Tattoo Life’ did an article on me which was not only a high point of 2011, but my entire career. Thank you to everyone along the way that made last year a seriously memorable one. I couldn’t be starting 2012 off any better. Next week I am out in New York guesting at Wooster Street Social Club and from there onto Dallas, Texas guesting at Elm Street Tattoo for the world famous Friday 13th 24 tattoo party. Thank you again and I hope next year brings all of you nothing but luck!!!
